MRS. W. J. FINKS DEAD
For Two Years or More She
Had Been in Bad Health --
The End Was Not a
Surprise.

Mrs. W. J. Finks died at the family residence in Marlin at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. For a period of two years or longer she had suffered impaired health, and for the past several months her physical condition had kept her closely confined to her home.
A devoted husband and seven children survive her. The children are Miss Ethel, Mrs. A. O. Bowdon, Mrs. N. W. Goodrich, Miss Miriam, Miss Mildred, and Frank, of Marlin; Mrs. Arthur Storrs of Granger. All were with her during her last illness.
Before marriage decedent was Miss Sallie Stallworth, daughter of the late F. M. and Lucinda Jones Stallworth. She was reared in Marlin, and was United in marriage to W. J. Finks in 1879.
For many years decedent had been a consistent member of the Episcopal church.
The funeral will be held from the Episcopal church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Service at the church.
